Bill Priest

Bill Priest

We learned in the Fall of 2018 from Bill Priest's daughter Jessica that he had passed away after a long struggle with lung cancer. With Presto’s passing we lost another fine friend and a dear classmate, and he will be sorely missed.

We ask you to share memories of Presto with fellow classmates by sending your reminiscences about him to us - anything from a few sentences to a full-blown profile. We will update this page as we receive your responses.

I have an anecdote about Bill Priest in connection with playing baseball, which I was not particularly good at.  A classmate of mine also played baseball, and he was good at it.  Well one day he and I got into a little dustup because I was not very good at baseball, and he was dealing out some trash and I said to him "Sorry, I'm just not good enough."  Bill was close by and patted me on the shoulder as a show of support and camaraderie, and it meant a lot to me - what a genuine and caring gesture!  - Frank Cobb
